GETTING BIGGER: Semco Carbon has moved into a new 40,000-square-foot facility in Lorain, more than doubling its space from its previous location. The firm, founded in 1971, provides custom graphite machining services to a variety of markets, including solar, aerospace, glass, casting/forging and heat treating. The company, located in Lorain for the past 20 years, currently employs about 25, and there are plans to hire additional machinists.
